Preparation required for the best results from your Spray Tan:
- The day before, fully exfoliate paying particular attention to any dry areas-heels, knees & elbows and then moisturise well
- The morning of your spray tan, take a shower/bathe, but do NOT moisturise
- Where possible, do not use anti-perspirent or deodorant as they may possibly react with the spray tan lotion
- Bring loose dark-coloured clothing to wear after your spray-avoid man-made fibres & silks as they have a tendancy to stain. Where possible, avoid tight underclothes too-so they don’t rub the colour off before it has developed
Procedure:
- Consultation
- We supply you with a disposable cap to protect your hair-the spray tan doesn’t stain your hair, if any colour should get on-it will wash out when you shower later.
- You will be given disposable ‘feet’ to ensure no shoe marks or stained soles of feet
- Remove any makeup, perfume or deodorant with wet wipes-supplied
- Undress to your briefs-we supply disposable thongs for ladies. You may keep your bra on if you wish, a black one perhaps? Most ladies tend to be sprayed topless. Gentlemen please wear loose cotton boxer shorts. We have a separate changing cubicle to keep your valuables clean & safe
- Our Spray Tan Technician will apply moisturiser to any dry areas of skin
- Spray Tanning is carried out.
- Whilst the manufacturer states you can dress immediately, we recommend that you stay on to dry for approximately 5 min’s
- Dress in your loose clothes and allow your Tan to develop for minimum 6 hours. You may prefer longer for a deeper result. It could stay on overnight but it will stain your bedsheets.
Our Spray Tanning lotion is lightly coconut fragranced so you don’t carry the normal ‘after’ smell associated with Spray Tanning. Our Spray has a colour guide, which affords you a pleasant tanned look so you will feel happy to go out straight afterwards-not all sprays have this benefit.
